Al 28’ grande intervento di Scartocci che copre un buco in difesa con una splendida diagonale e spazza l’area, provvidenziale! Azione confusa al limite dell’area della SPES con Rieti che passa indietro all’accorrente Penelope che batte di prima un bel cross in area su cui si avventa Roncel che stoppa la palla, si gira e lascia partire un bel diagonale che si insacca alle spalle dell’incolpevole portiere avversario: 1 – 0. Primo gol in campionato per Roncel ma gol sicuramente pesante, che vale i tre punti. Al 31’ esce Graziola ed entra Meretukov . Menzione particolare per Sica che è rimasto in campo per tutti i 70’ stringendo i denti per il riacutizzarsi del dolore alla gamba Right: Gladiator!
